Jessica graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta after completing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. Jessica has pursued additional training intramuscular stimulation, and a variety of manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue release, and joint mobilizations and manipulations, which she integrates in her patients’ in-clinic care. In addition, Jessica is a 200 hr registered Yoga Teacher and enthusiastic climber. She offers PhysioYoga and clinical care devoted to climbers as part of her practice. She believes that the quality of one’s life can be elevated by drawing awareness to movement and promoting simple repetitive changes to continue recovery and performance beyond the clinic. In her spare time Jessica can be found exploiting the mountains to their fullest with her husband- running their two dogs, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, mountain biking or backpacking

After graduating from a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Kinesiology, Brittney completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Brittney is passionate about patient-centred care, and providing evidence-based and personalized treatment for all her clients. Her treatment approach uses a combination of education, hands-on manual therapy (including IMS / functional dry needling), and therapeutic exercise prescription. She strives to empower patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation as they get back to the activities they love. Brittney can regularly be found on the ski hill in the winters, golfing in the summers, and training for triathlons year-round. She also has a love for volleyball and participates in CrossFit to stay strong for her activities.

Joe grew up in Williams Lake, a small city in the heart of the Cariboo Chilcotin Interior of British Columbia. There Joe had the opportunity to grow up in the outdoors of the Wild West where most of his childhood was spent outside enjoying various activities such as hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, trail running and general exploration. These early activities helped Joe establish a real appreciation for physicality and what it takes to improve health and mobility in order to keep doing the things you love. After working in many different sectors of industry such as forestry, logging, milling and construction Joe decided to move to Kamloops B.C. to attend the University College of the Cariboo (now Thompson Rivers University). In 2003 Joe graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology.  In 2007 Joe graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Joe has been working as a physiotherapist in private practice since graduating treating a myriad of acute and chronic pain conditions, work related injuries, motor vehicle related injuries and sport related injuries. Joe has also completed certification in acupuncture through the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation. As well Joe has completed certification in Dr. Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). When not singing and playing guitar in a cover band, Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends hiking, trail running, cross country skiing, snow boarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, camping and generally just exploring the outdoors. Tina Marie graduated from Mount Royal University in 2015 as a registered massage therapist. With over 15 years working in the spa and wellness industry, Tina finds her passion in healing and providing hands on therapy to clients with various injuries and chronic pain conditions. As someone who has experienced chronic pain on a personal level Tina’s practice always comes from a place of compassion. She believes healing is a process and requires patience, presence and clear communication of the clients goals and limitations. Whether you are coming to treatment to for relaxation, working on long term injuries, or seeking prenatal comfort she is able to meet you wherever you are in your journey. Tina is experienced in Swedish relaxation, deep tissue techniques, prenatal massage, cupping, yoga and Critical Alignment therapy. Critical Alignment is a branch of yoga that focuses on alignment and posture. Tina loves infusing yoga postures into her home care suggestions to provide a customized experience for each guest.

January graduated from University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Physical Education. After a year working as a kinesiologist, she completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from McMaster University in 2013. Having realized that being able to see and experience the mountains were an integral part of her well-being, she returned to Alberta. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, yoga, indoor climbing, knitting, and crochet, as well as just chilling out with her two cats and a good book. At work, January uses a holistic, hands-on approach and is excited to find the root of the problem and share in the results of a tailored treatment plan with her clients. She has further training in running injuries (treatment and prevention), Functional Dry Needling (level 2), Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Women’s Health (treating pelvic floor pain and/or dysfunction, incontinence, pre and post-natal). Vivian graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2010. She moved to Calgary and has worked with PT Health since January of 2011. Vivian has a large focus on assessing and treating the body as a whole. She has advanced training in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), therapeutic taping, fire-glass cupping, and manual therapy. Vivian enjoys and has experience working with people with a variety of injuries and ages. She aims to find the root cause of the problem and address the issues in a patient-centered and evidence-based manner. As the Clinic Director, Vivian ensures that all clients are receiving the best care possible with the best outcomes achievable and we are always striving to do better. Nishia enjoys working with people and helping people lead a life of wellness and health, so Nishia always knew she wanted to be in health care. Nishia graduated from CDI college in 2007 as a massage therapist and since then has loved her career and always aspires to learn different techniques to help people get well and stay well. She she recently graduated with a hollistic nutrition diploma through CSNN and looks forward to combining the massage and nutrition for a more rounded practice. Samuel graduated with honors from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Initially choosing massage therapy as a lifestyle change, Samuel has discovered a new and deepening interest in the human body and all of its amazing systems and complexities. He is particularly drawn to therapeutic and remedial massage, including myofascial work, dynamic cupping, active techniques, and joint mobilizations. He loves to treat neck, shoulders, and hips, and has predominantly worked with clients who have chronic pain or mobility issues. Samuel prefers a collaborative approach and likes to get his clients actively involved in their treatments, while providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively take care of their bodies and maintain their health.

As a lifelong learner, Samuel enjoys doing research and takes regular massage-related courses in an effort to build a well-informed, evidence-based practice. His passion is teaching and he hopes to one day instruct other aspiring massage therapists. Outside of massage, Samuel stays active with hiking, biking, and bouldering. Matt graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta after completing an undergraduate degree in kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Originally from the Okanagan, Matt was drawn to the mountains in Alberta to pursue competitive cross-country skiing, staying in Alberta to pursue his education. Matt grew up playing many different sports including volleyball, basketball and tennis. Matt’s experience with a variety of sports anchors his active approach to therapy, combining the right balance of exercise and hands-on manual therapy. Matt enjoys treating a variety of client populations including those who are post-surgical, have been in motor vehicle accidents or are weekend warriors. Outside of work, Matt loves to spend time outdoors whether that is cross-country skiing in the winter or cycling in the summer.
